Relationship and Community Development
Global Community Counseling (GCC) promotes Relationship and Community Development by providing scholarships for Neurofeedback training; Online/Distance, Face 2 Face Counseling, and Community Development workshops.
Donations to Global Community are used for research and scholarships available to all who qualify. Donations for research will be matched with scholarships for affordable services to the public.
Neurofeedback: We are moving our current affiliation to the EEG Institute.
The EEG Institute provides clinical services in Neurofeedback. We offer a variety of brain wave training options that are selected to suit each individual. Our clinical experience covers a broad range of symptoms including autism spectrum, ADD and hyperactivity, conduct problems, anxiety, depression, migraine headaches, traumatic brain injury and many other dysfunctions that affect emotional and physical well-being.
We believe that most people have the capacity to perform at a higher level of effectiveness, and we are dedicated to helping our clients attain their maximum potential. It turns out that among the vast majority of clients (95% in one clinician's experience) the actual outcome exceeds the prior expectations.
Against such low expectations, the changes that can be produced with Neurofeedback may even appear miraculous. One EEG Biofeedback office has a sign on its front desk: "We expect miracles. If none occur, something has gone wrong." What appears miraculous in all of this is really nothing more than the incredible capacity of our brains to recover function when given a chance.
